Something that no one talks about for mining is that you have to be very locked in. If u aren't full focus at least you won't make any decent money, and for max rates you have to be sweating.

Now, some people can full sweat things that others can't.
If you are one of those people that can full sweat mining for hours and never get bored, do mining. 1000%. Rift won't make nearly as much money and in the long run mining will make literal tens of billions of coins. (Still do rift for the talis tho)

However if you're like me and can't focus mining at all, it won't make any decent money even with a hypermaxed setup.
I'm more able to hyper focus on Diana and dungeons than mining and so those make more money.

I wanted to get into mining so I have a good mmm to get gear for dungeons, not really a sweat.

yeah you have to invest hundreds of millions into mining as well. Also rift takes like less than 10 hours to finish, and a bit longer to max. While mining takes like 7 sextillion years and 7 sextillion coins

When u finish hotm 7 (u should go for it regardless of whether you'll mine for money or not, it's just free SB esp), try out mining for a bit and see if you are able to focus for a long period of time on it.

If not then do something else, don't bother wasting ur time. Some people just can't mine and the game has come a long way since 2023, mining isn't the only way to make money anymore.

at the high end of mining when you spent hundreds of millions, if not billions on your mining setup, you will start to make more from mining.
rift is chill and good vibes. you can make 40m+ an hour (depending on prices) hitting berberis in the dreadfarm while watching netflix

buying bottles ofr rift only costs like 100-200k

I think most people are saying some item names with the assumption that you'll look it up.

in any case, until you get at least 40 minutes to start in the Rift I think you should focus on progressing it. You can buy 32 grand experience bottles to go back in, but doing it every 4 hours will progress you decently depending on how much you play.
