Huh? quite the contrary. iirc the only dbz animations that are cannon according to toriyama was Revival F and BOG and one other movie. The anime itself isn't cannon.

Not commenting on this match but Gokus physicals and energy projections are on same level, not counting his strongest blasts ofc. That has always been case in DBZ. It is why they tank their blasts and hurt each other with their punches after.

Garou should win with mid-diff.

That’s what I was thinking. I believe there’s no difference between the manga and anime correct? If so, what’s the difference

I see Goku start dominating Garou here. However, Garou's high capacity to adapt and copy enemy technique and stats will soon make him catch to Goku.

Specially because Goku in character like to have fun and tease his opponent a little to see how strong he could get.

Combined with that the SSJ3 is the most unstable transformation from the set. Goku exhaust all his energy within 5 minutes of transformation, meaning he can't keep this fight pretty long.

Just because of that i think Garou wins
